I have been teaching Physical Education and Coaching  for twenty eight years. I have taught K-8th grade, with most of my teaching experience being with middle school students. I have coached at both the middle school and high school level.    Twenty-five  of those twenty-nine years have been with Omaha Public Schools.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Physical Education Recreation and Dance from South Dakota State University and a Masters of Arts degree in Exercise Physiology from Mankato State University. I have two amazing  children.  Camden is 24 and he graduated from Omaha North High School in 2014.  He has a bachelor's and a master's in Architectural Engineering and is currently working at Engineering Technology Incorporated as a lighting and design specialist.  Jaeden is a Senior at Omaha North High. She is involved with Journalism at ONH and is a review writer for the school newspaper.  She is also a ballet dancer who trains 7 days a week at the Omaha Academy of Ballet.  She is on a pathway to pursue a position with Classical Ballet company right out of high school.  Eric, my significant other, is the athletic director at Omaha North High School.  We are proud to be an Omaha Public Schools family!     I am an avid exerciser and I believe that movement is important and  is and/or should be fun.   I love teaching PE and coaching athletics.  I am the head girls and boys swim coach as well as the head girls track coach at Davis.  I am also the number one fan of all the other Davis athletics.  Its always a good day to be an Aviator!

The goal of Davis Middle School Physical Education program is to offer a wide variety of activities that will help students develop health-related fitness, physical competence, cognitive understanding, and positive attitudes about physical activity that promotes a healthy and physically active lifestyle.
