Biography

The 2020-2021 school year is the start of my eighth school year with OPS. I began my teaching career in January of 2014 after graduating in the winter from UNO with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I started teaching 4th grade at Belle Ryan Elementary and eventually moved on to teach a 4/5 combination class there. During this time, I received my Master's Degree in Teaching Middle Level Mathematics from UNL. I decided to make the jump from elementary school to middle school so I could focus on teaching math, which is what led me here to Davis.

I grew up with my dad in the Air Force and my mom a middle school math teacher. I went to school in Papillion and currently reside in the Millard area. In 2016 I married my husband, who is an ASE on the Cobra Ball in the USAF, stationed at Offutt. **Sounds familiar, right?** My husband and I have  a Pitbull named Stella and a farm cat named Hank. We also have a baby on the way coming in October!
